About the Centre

One roof. Five floors of service.

Rising five storeys above Phool Bagh in Chandrayangutta, the Masjid-e-Ameena Islamic Centre was purpose-built for a single idea: that a masjid should feed more than the soul. Floors one to five are given to prayer; the ground floor welcomes the congregation with free covered two-wheeler parking.

By day the building works as a school and a lifeline. A women's skill centre on the fifth floor teaches tailoring, mehndi, spoken English, Urdu and tajweed. A computer lab on the third floor readies graduate and undergraduate students for work. A madarsa gathers children between Asr and Isha. And through the Al-Khair Society, ration kits and medicines reach families in need — quietly, with dignity.

Women have their own dedicated entrance and lift, leading to the ladies' section for Jumu'ah and Taraweeh. Everything here is open, verified and free of fanfare — the way service was meant to be.

Prayer at the Centre

Five floors of the building belong to the salah. The five daily jamaats are held on every floor; the congregation spills across all of them at Jumu'ah and in Ramadan.

Jumu'ah · Friday 1:30 PM Khutbah begins at 1:30 PM. Ladies' section open, with the dedicated entrance and lift.
Counting down to --:--:-- Begins today at · times shown live for Hyderabad

Times shown are jamāʿat — the congregation beginnings — derived fresh each day from the azān calculation for Hyderabad (17.34° N, 78.48° E; Hanafi Asr, Fajr & Ishā at 18°), so they stay accurate across the whole year. Iqāmah follows shortly after each azān. In Ramadan, Taraweeh begins after the Ishā jamāʿat. Please confirm any change at the office notice board.

Al-Khair Programmes

Learning at the Centre

Three classrooms of opportunity run under the Al-Khair Society — for women, for children, and for students stepping into their careers.

Women's Skill Programmes

Al-Khair Society · Fifth floor · dedicated ladies' entrance & lift

Two daily batches11:00 AM – 3:00 PM3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Six programmes, taught patiently and priced so that no woman is turned away. Generations of homemakers have turned these classrooms into small home enterprises — stitching orders, taking mehndi bookings, and tutoring children in Urdu and Qur'an. Certificates are awarded at the end of each batch, and admissions open at the centre office.

  • Fashion Design & Tailoring

Measurements, cutting, stitching and finishing — from daily wear to boutique-level work, on real machines.

  • Mehndi Art

Traditional, Arabic and bridal henna styles, with hygiene and client-handling basics.

  • Spoken English

Everyday conversation, vocabulary and interview confidence — taught gently, from the basics.

  • Computer Course

Hands-on foundation sessions conducted in the centre's third-floor lab.

  • Urdu Language

Reading and writing the script — for beginners and for those reclaiming their mother tongue.

  • Qur'an with Tajweed

Correct recitation with tajwīd, taught by qualified female instructors.

Children's Madarsa

Qur'anic education · open to all children of the neighbourhood

Two daily batchesAsr → MaghribMaghrib → Isha

Every evening the masjid fills with children — Qa'ida and Nazira reading, memorisation of selected sūrahs, and foundational Islamic manners, in small groups under attentive teachers. Parents may enrol children at the office; the two batches let families choose the slot that fits school timings.

Because the madarsa follows the prayer clock, its timings move gently with the seasons. Today's windows at the centre:

Asr → Maghrib  ·  Maghrib → Isha

Job-Oriented Computer Lab

Third floor · for graduate & undergraduate students

AdmissionsOpen at office

A dedicated lab on the third floor runs job-oriented programmes designed for graduate and undergraduate students — workplace software, documentation, typing proficiency and internet skills that translate directly into employability. Batches are kept small, and certificates carry the weight of the centre's name in the neighbourhood.

Questions people ask us

Yes. The centre has a dedicated women's entrance and a lift leading straight to the ladies' section, used for Jumu'ah and Taraweeh prayers.

Two batches daily — from Asr to Maghrib, and from Maghrib to Isha. Because it follows the prayer clock, the exact times shift with the season; today's windows are shown live in the Programmes section above.

Approach the centre office, call us, or use the "Request assistance" form on this page. A volunteer verifies the need with a home visit, after which a ration kit or medical supplies are arranged — usually within a few days.

The third-floor lab runs job-oriented courses for graduate and undergraduate students. Admissions are announced at the office; a basics module is also woven into the women's fifth-floor programme.

Yes — the entire ground floor is free, covered two-wheeler parking for worshippers and visitors.

Fees are kept nominal and affordable by design, and no woman is turned away for want of means. Speak to the office about the current batch and fee structure.
